“Legend has it that the Matterhorn was formed from the tears of a lovelorn giantess. In ages past, a gentle giantess named Helvetia fell in love with a star that shone brightly in the night sky. Desperate to be closer to her beloved, she sought the help of the gods, who granted her wish by turning her into the mighty Matterhorn. Her tears, shed out of longing, formed the pristine lakes that now dot the valleys below.”
